Yep, worked like a charm! A major victory. In my Linux computer I collected my various word lists together and made one large text file of all of them together. Around 110,000 words. And there are multiple languages and scripts. I brought the text file into Windows, changed it to suffix .dic, opened it in MS Word, and saved it as UTF-8. But that wasn't sufficient. MS Word wouldn't allow me to add this as a dictionary file. Then I opened it in Notepad. In the "save as" options there, it offers you UTF-8 and Unicode as separate options. I thought UTF-8 was Unicode, but whatever. I did a "save as" into Unicode, and then when I again attempted to add the dictionary in MS Word, MS Word accepted the file. Really amazing. Never thought it was going to happen! And it is working amazingly well, perfectly really, for all the languages, and all the scripts.
