I think Microsoft should disable the autoconvert when opening a document from the cloud, especially when there is no option to return to the original.

It is soul destroying to think of the time I have lost in creating that document , to have it all lost when opening the document with no roll back.

Maybe the future of online document creation isn't as bright as I have previously thought, or maybe Google Sheets etc is the answer.
