Check her Outlook account on her machine, specifically the Data File location—confirm it matches where the file actually is.

Yours sounds like a home setup, ie not linked into an Exchange server or similar?
Is she using IMAP or POP?
Is the file OST or PST?

This should be fixable, once we know your setup.
