Final paragraph mark
I know it used to be true (or at least I've heard it said) that "the final paragraph mark in a document held all the doc's formatting."
We were told we couldn't delete that final paragraph mark, and in fact one of my mentors insisted that it had to be styled "Normal," even if everything else in the document was styled with a custom style.
Is that still true in Word 2007? Is that final paragraph mark still a critical element? (and just for the sake of information, was it ever true?)
Thanks!
Caroline
