Default Embed PowerPoint in Word 2016 (Mac)

I haven't found any option to embed PowerPoint slides in Word 2016 (mac). In Word 2007 for Windows, I can copy and paste the slide and it keeps editable. I can't believe after 8 years there is no such feature on the OSX version. Anyone has a clue how to do it?
