I have been having problems with word in the last few months.

Problem #1
When I open a word file the following information is displayed at the end of the file:

2)
Normal
Normal
Heading 1
Heading 1
Default Paragraph Font
Default Paragraph Font

This appears to be information that Word and other word processing program use to know how to handle a file. Where is the option that is used to turn off displaying this information?

Problem # 2 hyperlinks

When I open files that were made a few years ago the hyperlinks look like this:
HYPERLINK http://www.niyow.com/
http://www.niyow.com/

Problem #3 doesn’t display inserted pictures

When I open files that were made a few years ago the inserted pictures are displayed as if you opened them with a Word processor instead of a program to display a jpeg file. What is displayed is the jpeg code instead of a picture.

Problem #1 and two are irritations. Problem #3 is a problem because I need to update some files to give to others.

When I click on Help-About Word i get Word 97 SR-1 copyright 1983-1987

Any updates I get from Microsoft are always installed.

Any solutions would be helpful.
