Unless your licence is for an OEM installation, you should be able to simply install whichever version of Office you're using on the new laptop. There is no transfer mechanism. If the MS Activation database suspects a license violation, you might be required to activate Office by telephone.

PS: Your profile says you're using Office 2013, but your post refers to Office 2010. Please clarify.
