Default Help - how can we contral "Document Map" display?

I found issue with an existing Word file (*.docx) and need to fix it with Word 2007. This file has three tables: Table of Contents, List of Tables and List of Figures. The Table of Contents does not include any page numbers of figures or tables. Page numbers of figures and tables are listed in List of Figures and List of Tables, respectively. This is what we need.

After I select "Document Map" check box under View menu, the document map will be diplayed on the left-side panel. In this (document map) panel, figures and tables show up with chapters/sections. It looks like:

Code:
4 Animals
   4.1 Dogs
Figure 4-1 Different dogs
   4.2 Dog food
      4.2.1 Old dog food
Figure 4-2 Some food
      4.2.2 Puppies food

Table 6 Food types
      4.2.3 Nutrition
My question is how we can let figures and tables not show up in the document map list with chapters/sections? I don't need figures and tables to show up in the left "document map" panel at all if that's possible.

Thanks,
Lee
