OneNote creates incomplete hyperlink address from pasted URL
When I paste a URL to a OneNote page, the resulting hyperlink address is often incomplete:
- Copy a URL to the clipboard - as text only, for example
https://www.pc-magazin.de/ratgeber/nas-western-digital-qnap-ifttt-z-wave-tipps-3198308-16080.html
- Paste it to the body of a OneNote page.
Result: OneNote turns only part of the text into a link (blue, underlined). The text is complete, but the hyperlink address is incomplete.
The last n characters are missing from the hyperlink address - where n depends from the pasted text.
For example, with the URL above always the last 2 characters are missing from the hyperlink address that OneNote creates:
https://www.pc-magazin.de/ratgeber/n...98308-16080.html
Of course the hyperlink does not work due to its incomplete address.
In order to make such hyperlinks work I must edit each hyperlink address, which is cumbersome.
(I never encounter this issue with Word, Excel, Outlook or Powerpoint.)
This issue is strictly reproducible on several computers on
- OneNote 2013 on Windows 7
- OneNote 2010 on Windows 8
H ow to make OneNote create the hyperlink with the complete address always?
