Stefan, I hope you are still following this thread.

I've had several crashes in Word 2007 with this one file I am working on. I reported this previously and was told that the file may be corrupted. I copied the file without the last paragraph mark, deleted all the page and section breaks and saved the file with a new name.

This worked for awhile but now when this file crashes the repaired document appears in the Recovery Panel and when I view what was repaired it indicates "Bookmark 1". Highlighting the bookmark and clicking "Goto" leads back to the start of the document with no bookmark found. To view existing bookmarks I click Insert | Bookmarks and the bookmarks box opens and there are none, not even hidden ones.

One time I even got an "exception violation" (not exact wording) and Word crashed without saving a recovery document.

I'm at a loss as to what I can do since I am losing text every time Word crashes.
