I am reopening this thread as I am getting the prompt to enter my password again and although I enter it and tick the box to remember it, the prompt returns.
Strangely I can access all my folders and emails and also send emails but every now and then Outlook 2010 prompts me for my password again.


I Googled this and got some 'hits' including one at https:/support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/290684/save-password and tried to follow the instructions which I was unable to carry out (could not find the Accounts settings dialog box)


Should I uninstall Outlook 2010 and reinstall or is there an easier method?
