I'm currently using Outlook 2007 with POP3 to Gmail and wish to switch to using IMAP to a non Gmail IMAP server.


I have many, many local Outlook folders. When selecting IMAP, will all my local folders be replicated (synced) to the IMAP server?


If so, is there a way to prevent that?
