This only works if I create a file by opening the new template that I've created.

If I launch Excel from the taskbar, or create a new file using Ctrl + N when Excel is already open, I still get the same old problem.

Also, if I use File -> New - Blank workbook, I get a new file with only one sheet (Sheet1), with the cursor in A1. This isn't so bad.

But I normally use either the taskbar (to launch Excel) or Ctrl + N (when it's already open), and I would like it to open the new file in the normal way when I do either of these things.

Can anyone please help?
