I am trying to send an email with my new Outlook email account. They say to avoid
spam I must supply a cell number, but I get this message: We cannot send a text message to this number.

I am in Canada, have my account with Rogers and have had this number for years.

Please go easy with the answer as I am 72 and advanced technical instructions tend to go over my head
