customize bibliography to reference a blog post
Hi! I have tried searching google and these forums and could not find an answer for this. I am using Word 2016 MSO on a Windows 10. I love the current built-in Citations & Bibliography tool. However, I need to reference a blog post and can't seem to figure out how. My courses require APA styling.
In a regular title, it is:
This is the title.
OR
This is the title.
For a blog post, it is:
This is the title [blog post].
I really would like to be able to do this automatically using the Citations & Bibliography tool. I have tried putting "blog post" in various values and I have tried different source selections (book, electronic, miscellaneous, etc) within the APA style.
In my google searching, I became aware of customizing the styles. While this type coding is not completely foreign to me, it has been a really long time (like, almost ten years), so creating a new style or even editing a current one is just beyond what I am capable of at this point. I did discover that GOST - name sort does what I need as far as the blog post in brackets and period placement. Of course the rest of the reference is not correct then.
I don't know if I am just missing how to do it within the current APA style or if it requires customizing the coding.
If someone could help me out here it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
