What you're trying to do really isn't practical. Utilities to break MS Office passwords abound. Since it's a document, though, presumably it's just intended for reading, though the presence of a macro suggests it's a bit more than that, too. In that case, you might do better to use a PDF, which can also be automated and which you can lock down far more securely. PDFs also give you greater control over the final layout on different computers.
