Hi, thanks for taking the time to respond. I've read through the link you posted but haven't had any luck.

Are you sure those vertical bars are tab stops? I can't manipulate them like tab stops - i.e. drag them down to remove them or double click them. The only thing I can do is drag them horizontally but this effects all of them - I can't just drag one to extend a line margin.

When I try to clear all tabs in the Para menu, it has no effect on them, which makes me wonder if they are stops. I also notice when I toggle through tab types with the tab icon, the 'bar tab' type (which these look like) isn't within the different types that cycle through....
