There is nothing broken. The dialog box is merely stating that the conversion can't be done on your mac and that the file needs to be uploaded to a Microsoft server for conversion and then the converted document downloaded back to your mac.

If you click allow the file will be uploaded, converted, and downloaded back to your mac.

If you click don't allow then no conversion will take place.
