Default Cannot open Excel document in email recieved

I have incredimail plus as my email. I have Win 10 and MS Office 2010.

When I receive an Excel attachment and try to open it,it opens to a blank file. I have to save the attachment give it a name. I then click onto the saved excel doc,click open and it then opens the document.

I used to be able to click onto the attachment in the email and the excel attachment would open. Now it does not. How can I fix this problem please
