I am looking for an effiecient way to export the emails that are stored in a PST file. At work we currently use PST files which have all of their own folder structures etc.
However we are moving to a system to which we will not be able to use PST files going forward, nor will we be able to access our old pst files. The only way that I have see to get all of the individual mail messages out of a pst file is to to it all manually. Create a New folder with all of the same folders that are in your pst files. Go into each folder select all and drag the whole string of emails out and drop in your new folder which allows you to double click on a mail envelope and open just that email.
Now for someone like me who has been here for five years it is a pain to do, but not half as bad as people who have been here for 15 years and have loads of PST files.
