I have this idea of a smart meeting note template and was wondering if anybody have seen anything like it or if it is possible to build in Word, or any other Office program for that matter?!
In my office we have a lot of follow-up meetings, some times for Projects spanding over several years, with the same topics each time and the text just keeps getting longer and longer under each topic.
The ide is that the meeting document has a built in template containing 5 sections, where some are visible at all times and some are minimizable/maximizable so that you don't have to scroll through the entire text every time you have a meeting, but they are there in the same document if you need them.
I think of the template as a tree structure where the first section is the "Tree" which contains the topic, or subproject title if you will (i.e. the whole document is the "Forest).
The "Branch" is the second section and contains primary information about the Project, e.g Start/End date of the subproject and bullet points of what it is about or whats going to happen.
The third section contains "Twigs" with secondary information that contains more details about what you are supposed to do or what's going to happen.
And for thouse things that is no longer directly relevant but you still wanna keep just in case, there is a fourth section called "Leaves" - some fall of each year and some stick with you till the end.
Finally there is a section called "Gardener" where the one/ones responsible for the "Tree" (topic/subproject) is noted.
It's hard to explain the whole concept in words so I have also attached a PPT to visualise the idea.
So excited to see if anyone has a smart solution for this!
