Thanks, Paul. This is a very different kind of course and assignment from the typical word count. When you're creating an index for a book, publishers will often specify line length and number of lines allowed (has to do with how many blank pages are left at the back of the book). An indexer has to work within these criteria, and that's the challenge with this assignment. I have the info I need now.
