I have a lot of historical emails.

Every once in a while if my PC crashes or some issue causes it to have to restart Outlook begins the search indexing process from the beginning.

That means that I have to wait quite some time to locate particular emails in a search.

Is there a way to better manage this (rather than deleting 80% of historical mails)?

Either a fix within Outlook, or a better cataloguing plug-in?

Any advice would be appreciated.
