Hi ,

we have been facing an issue for Outlook 2010, we have an utility on client server which automatically fetches mails through journalling (catchall) mailbox from exchange server and saves a copy of the .msg file on stored repository Document management system.

Issue is quiet tricky.

if we open the mail( which contains only text) from stored DMS location and click on forward it works as expected.

But if the mail which had an image as its content (say client signature) when we open that email from stored DMS it shows as expected but on click of forward, Mail body becomes blank.

Also to rule out Antivirus or 3rd party tool which might be stripping off the mail content on forward . we tried copying another mail (which contained an image as its content) manually from Outlook using file save as from the same server and store it on same DMS location and then try to forward it it works as expected.

Also the mail for which on click of forward it was going blank. if we just open the mail from DMS location and click on edit message and then click on forward it worked as expected.

Suppose the issue was with our utility,when we created a test environment with outlook 2010 and configured the service same as on client server and used the same test mail with image when the mail got stored in DMS & then clicked on forward it worked as expected.

please can anyone help us with fixing the forward issue or give us some clue on which settings might be causing this issue?
