As you say you only want to print the PUB file and not be able to change/edit the PUB file - on the XP machine, you could convert/print the PUB file to PDF. You may need a PDF printer to do this if the XP machine hasn’t got one.

You’d could then transfer the PDF to say a Flash Drive and transfer to another machine to print out the PDF.
You could also email the PDF as an attachment to whoever also and the receiver can print out the PDF.

Follow the steps and receive your PDF via email to print out.
