Auto-Print Envelopes from Captured Text
I am looking to print envelopes from a txt file with one click. Of course. Actually I have a sequence in my head, which follows, followed by a sample of the source data, followed by a prepared-for-printing variant. Comments would be appreciated. Somehow, I'm sure for heavy users this is an out of pocket widget. I apparently am not using the right search terms.
Sequence
1. Paste source info into notepad.
2. Save as known temporary filename.txt.
3. Open filename.txt with Word 2016
4. Move to top of document
5. Find and Replace all double Paragraph Marks with Double Paragraph Marks enclosing an Asterisk
6. Move to the Top of the Document
7. Advance to the first Asterisk
8. Select Everything after the first Asterisk until the Next Asterisk
9. Invoke Envelope Printing of the Selected Text
10. Move to the Next Asterisk
11. Repeat 8 - 10 Until No More Asterisks Are Found
End
I am looking to replace Steps 4 to 11 with a macro of some type, assuming the default printer has envelopes in a tray, the tray has been configured specifically for
envelope, such that selecting an address block and printing an envelope just pops the envelope into the receiving tray.

Alternatively, I would appreciate a pointer or two to 1. a really good public code repository for examples, and/or 2. a nice online training site. I'm okay at picking up things once I see a well executed example or two.
Everyone says coding is the future. Guess I've put this off long enough.
Thanks for your attention.
