We use custom styles.

I've used Heading 1-9. The word SECTION is typed in Heading 1 style before auto number.

I've also got a Ctrl Tab to extend underline across Tab.

I've used Payne numbering assistant to do this in reverse with the word ARTICLE but don't remember how. It was white font hidden text and reduced font size all 3 or a combinaion of 2 of these.
Just can't remember.

I am sure there is a trick for this just wish I could remember it.
