Word does not truly understand "pages." It understands words, paragraphs, and sections. Pages really only become real for Word when printing. There is nothing to "grab."
This is unlike PowerPoint where slides are discrete entities.
On the other hand, the Navigation pane gives much more control and much can be done in it. In the Navigation pane, you can view by page, but not move by page.
If you do not need flow of text from page to page, modify a style, perhaps Heading 1 so that it is formatted for Page Break Before as part of its paragraph formatting.
Ctrl+Alt+1 will switch any paragraph to Heading 1. To begin a new page use that style.
Then, the Navigation Pane when viewing by headings, will allow you to move pages with the mouse. You click on a heading and move it within the Navigation pane.
