First off, there is no such thing as WordBasic 2003 or WordBasic 2007. WordBasic was discontinued when VBA for Word was introduced (with Word 97 IIRC - in 1996).

The problems you're now having are perhaps a good demonstration of why one should by now have converted as much as possible of their old WordBasic code to vba. Eventually, MS is likely to stop supporting it altogether! For the Visual Basic Equivalents for WordBasic Commands, see:
