hello, glad to hear someone who's sympathetic.

Or change the keyboard shortcut in Windows for switching languages.

Since I'm using Alt+Shift to switch languages quite a long time
( a little later than OS Windows ever became a gleam in Bill Gate's eye, of course), that looks to me as not a variant.

Press the Shift key first, then the Alt key. I.e., use Shift+Alt.

In a hurry, that doesn't work.

Anyway thanks for inputting.
Bingo! There's a partial solution.
Did on analogy. One guy did that to disable alt+s for Outlook. The same situation, he was sick of ribbon shortcuts. A link to

Did comparison with this:

I just figured it out for Word 2013, because previous variant was not working for my OS.
Here is script for Win7 registry related Word 2013 I used.
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Word\DisabledShortcutKeysList]
"KeyMod1"="18,16"
Currently I'm testing that. It's not stellar, but I'm satisfied.
Could not attach .reg file for automaticall installation.
For manual insatallation, it would be better to ask somebody from IT department of your organization or who has clue about how to make changes in Windows registry.
