Default Creating a shopping list, where dublicates are automatically added

I am in charge of planning the menu for a camp full of kids, for 8 days. It's a lot of recipes, and a lot of food!

I have made a spread sheet with the men and all the ingredients needed for the recipes for all of the days etc., but I want to make an easy shopping list.

It's easy to copy all the listed ingredients and their amounts into one long list, but adding together dublicates is very difficult. Is there a way I can make excel read the item name, and automatically add together the quantaty? Otherwise things like salt, pepper, onion, milk are going to be on the list a thousand times, and I'll lose my overview of how much is bought.

I have made a very simplified excel sheet of the situation, attached.

It is very important that the sheet stays as interactive as possible, as the number of kids, and their various intolorances etc. keeps changing, plus we may want to change some ingredients and quantaties pr kid.

I feel like there should be an easy solution, I'm just not quite sure what to search for!
Hope someone out there can help

(hope it is uploaded in the correct format)
