I have a set of existing powerpoint presentations which all look fine using the 2007 Powerpoint viewer on my Win XP laptop when setting the resolution to 1024 x 768 (which is what I use when projecting)

If I use the 2010 Powerpoint viewer, the presentation has black areas left and right and so does not fill the screen at 1024 x 768.

I'd prefer to use the 2010 Powerpoint viewer because I may soon want to use some of it's extra features.

Any ideas?
