Need to extract e-mail addresses from lots of word documents
Morning - I hope someone can help me?
I have about 1500 word documents in separate folders (grouped into about 10 sub-folders) and I need to extract e-mail addresses from each one.
Could someone help me with how I can run a macro which will:
Open the first sub folder, open the .doc file, extract the e-mail address, copy and paste that e-mail address to a new word document, place a semi-colon after the address in the new word document, close the .doc file, then open the next sub-folder and perform the same operation until it has gone through all the sub-folders.
I would like to end up with one word document with all 1500 e-mail addresses in if possible.
Can anyone help me with this? I've got a macro which will open the folder and extract the e-mail address but I can't get it to cycle through all sub-folders and I also can't get it to paste the e-mail addresses into the same word document.
