GOOD NEWS and bad -- The mystery evolves...
Ran the latest batch of code on the *uploaded sample file* (that's only 3 pages long with 57 "xs:element name"s) and it generated a very nice list at the base of the file to include 57 element names -- THUMBS UP!
Went to the real file (that's 94 pgs long and 783 element names) and it NO LONGER WIPES THINGS OUT to a blank single page --THUMBS UP -- however, it does wipe everything out leaving a single page of just garbage content and no element names... (here's a before/after snapshot of page 1 of the 94 pg file)
Very strange! but appears it's almost there (if there was a way to enable it to handle the 94 pg file). Are there any special characters or format items that might be causing it to ignore everything and leave only this single page of junk? I can try to turn on "show all formatting" to look for something if so...
