Global change of one of multiple fonts
I need to be able to make a global change, text and footnotes, from one font to another, while leaving other fonts alone. In documents I create, there is always English, and I prefer to work in Arial, as I hate Times New Roman (smaller and harder to read because of the serifs). However, I often include Greek (SBL Greek font) and sometimes Hebrew (SBL Hebrew font). When I want to submit something for publication, I have to convert the Arial to Times New Roman, as that seems to be a common requirement. I want to change the Arial only, leaving the Greek and Hebrew fonts alone. I have had trouble in the past because trying to do a global change converts the Greek font into Times New Roman, which is not right at all. I know how to select the whole document and change the font. I also know how to do a find-and-replace action, but how do I find and replace one of multiple fonts? So far I've been doing this the hard way, selecting only the Arial text, from a whole paragraph to a single word, and converting it but that is a very onerous process. Is there an easier, faster way to do this?
Also, is there a way to make Word 2007 select all the footnotes at once in order to make format changes? Thanks.
