I really need help here

I'm working on an exam assignment for university and all of a sudden EndNote X8 starts giving me a headache. Using Harvard style references and until now every reference I have plotted into my EndNote X8 library has shown as (Author, Year) and then it was put below the last reference in my referencelist in the Word document.
Now when I make a new reference, still in Harvard, it shows as {Author, Year #Number}.

Has anyone got any idea as to why this is happening and how to fix it? I'm getting quite desperate
