If you did that
• via a Spell/Grammar check and changing/ignoring reported errors; or
• by setting the proofing for the whole document to 'Do not check spelling or grammar',
the status will remain with the document when it's opened on another system. Naturally, though, the recipient can re-set the document to highlight any spelling/grammar errors.
