Hello!

I have created a booklist for a small school library that has about 1,600 books.

Using the sort function, I get this order for the family name:

MAYOROS
McCAFFERTY

The librarian has told me that McCAFFERTY should come before MAYLOROS because of its lower case c. I did a bit of checking on some library sites and found various "rules", depending on library and other things, too...

I'm wondering if it is possible to "tweak" the sort order in Excel, i.e., change the alphabetising rules, or are such things set in stone?
