Perhaps lookup on the net a way to get rid of any references to 2016 on your computer ( this might involve tweaking the registry so backups might be needed)
Then uninstall completely XL2010 and any programs related to 2016 you have on the PC via the Control Panel - reboot and re-install XL2010
Also backup all your files just in case
