Firstly I know nothing about Macros or visual basic, although I do have a couple of macros which someone created for me.

I clicked on View\Macros and record a macro in error (long story) I immediately stopped the recording and cancelled out of the program. Now when I open Word (and with any of my templates), when I go to close Word I get Microsoft Visual Basic program appear with a dialogue box that reads: 'Compile Error Exprected End Sub' and options OK or Help. Behind this pop-up is the editor with macro code in it.
When I click Ok and close the editor another box pops up which reads:
'This command will stop the debugger' with the options OK, Cancel & Help.

I don't know what I've done or how I get rid of this - please help
