I would agree with Paul's choices. Word 2013 and 2016 have some nice features but also have drawbacks.
Word 2007 was never a good choice. Word 2003 is solid.

Unless you have a reason to change from Word 2010, I would not do that.

I have access to the following: Word 97, 2003, 2010, 2013 and 2016. I do most of my work in Word 2010.
