I am having trouble assigning equipment for my different tasks that I have. I'll give you an exemple. I have a construction project. In it I have tasks that require the use of the crane. Now I want to allocate the crane as an equipment. Ok, I go to the ressource sheet, I make a new ressource as work, call it "crane". Now we are getting to the part where it gets tricky. The crane is not used for the entire duration of the task, but just at the beginning. When I allocate the crane to a task, Project considers it to be employed for the duration of the task. I need to assign it just for a certain amount of time. Does anyone have any idea how it can be done ?
