Default Making a complex shape

I'm a long-time Visio user, but here's something I hadn't seen. I got a file (not sure who produced it so can't ask) with quite a complex shape.

The shape is like three rectangles stacked, each with a different width. One side of the stack is straight, all the rectangles flush. All the corners of the 'final' shape are round, but not of the individual rectangles on the side where they're lined up.

The only way I can make this is to do what I described-- make three separate shapes, and do some kluging for the rounded corners being only in the 'final' shape. Can someone describe how this single chape would be created in Visio?
