Yes, it is more clear. Take a look at the link I gave you.
Check the settings in your header/footer tools tab for:
  1. Different first page
  2. Different Even and Odd
  3. Link to previous
Note the type of header. If it is a first-page header, an even-page header, or an odd-page header, that will be reflected in the label on the line separating the header from the body of the document. Read the linked article again. Come back and tell us what you are seeing.

If it can't be worked out, you could try the Word Toolkit for Advanced Management of Word Headers and Footers which can tell you more about what is going on.
