so how do we petition microsoft to enable 2-line quick access toolbar (QAT)?
1. I know how to program VBA macros, so I could do this for Word if I wanted to spend the time. However shouldn't they just give the option for multi-row toolbars? (Also, for OneNote, MS didn't even bother to build in the standard macro recorder and VBA editor, so we don't even have the option to create a custom menu. Lame!)
2. What happened to the old drag & drop method of editing the custom toolbars, like in Office 2003 & earlier? You could just click customize toolbar then click & drag a button to where you want it. And you had the option to break your toolbar up into multiple rows. Now we are forced to use this clunky editor with only 2 controls to move an item up and down a line - what if you want to move a button 20 items up to the top? All that clicking takes forever and after a while cramps up your hand! With the old drag & drop editor, you could instantly see what your toolbar looks like, if the icons will fit on one row, etc.
So how / where do we petition Microsoft to fix this feature to work more like it did in the older pre-ribbon Office versions?
