Default Disabling "jumping" pages when scrolling down thru a document

Howdy,

There is some really annoying scrolling behavior in Word 2013, when I am scrolling through a Word document at 100% resolution, with two pages displayed side by side.

The below image shows what I see as I start scrolling down:

We can see that the "Interrupting Foreground" page is page 5-13, and is preceded by 5-11 and 5-12.

If I scroll down a bit, the pages "jump" and this is what I then see:

We see that the pages displayed in my field of view have actually gone BACKWARDS (even though I've scrolled down with the mousewheel through the document). See that the two page footer numbers we can see towards the top of the image are now 5-10 and 5-11, when in the first image they were 5-11 and 5-12.

This behavior is incredibly distracting, and I would love if someone could shed some light as to how to stop this ridiculous "backwards page jumping" from happening

Thanks for your time.
