Clearly, no. I was totally focused on Bounds. Of course invert worked. Thanks (all) for the patience with tedious questions.

Here are (I hope) my last questions on the graph.

My object is to insert ‘callout’ text structures pinned to certain dates along the X axis. (In other software) I’m used to clicking on the icon, click at a start point, moving the mouse to where you want the callout/text box, let go of the mouse and, voila, the call-out shape pops open ready for you to type. However, it seems whichever callout that I select (format/insert images), the box grows along with the line. If I shrink the box the line shrinks correspondingly away from the date on the X axis. Isn’t there a callout that allows you to start at a fixed point on the axis and have that point stay put while you extend the line to wherever in the field you would like the callout structure to reside?

My object for the Y axis title is to have 1 horizontal word close to the top of the Y axis and the other horizontal word close to the bottom. However, I’m running into 2 problem right off. First, when I double click the Y axis title box, I can move it but I cannot grab one of the blue corner balls and shrink or expand the box? Second, assuming I could expand the box to be a slender text box parallel to the Y axis, when I format axis title/alignment/text direction horizontal, the entire box is moved horizontally not just the word?
