Default Header background color opacity

Hello,

I've purchased a Word template for proposals and I'm trying to change parts of it. I'm a total newbie when it comes to designing in Word and now I'm stuck.

There's a header section with a light grey background color, a logo and some contact information:

Now, I want to change that background color to green and managed to do it in FORMAT -> SHAPE FILL. Now it looks like that:

But when I close the header and footer edit option, this is the result I get:

It seems like my green color is washed out with some opacity change or something and I can't figure out how I can change that.

Please guide me, thank you in advance.
