Default
The issue is caused by you having the page layout set to centred alignment. On a PC, you'd fix this by going to:
Page Layout|Page Setup>>Layout
and changing the Vertical Alignment to Top. I don't know the Mac path to the same command. Do not that you might need to adjust some of your pages after doing this. The alternative is to leave the page layout alone and, after the final paragraph, press the ENTER key however many times you need to to force the content on the last page to the top.
