Default NO contacts after Outlook updated 3-2017

Hi, Over the last couple of days, Outlook email updated on my pc's. I use Win 7 and XP depending on which PC I'm using, the latest Firefox. I've been using Outlook for at least a year now, with no problems. Since the update, I can no longer access my contacts. In fact, under the 'people' section, shows I have ZERO contacts. All of my business contacts are in there, plus personal. Does anyone know how to retrieve them? I have NO MS office products on my systems. I had to choose one to register in this forum. Also, I do not and can not use IE on my pc. I still have an XP pc and IE won't update and Outlook won't recognize what I have. Thank you for any help in this matter.
